Christian Home Business Connection: Rita, can you explain to our audience exactly what is the Homejobstop Job Bank?

Rita: Of course. The Homejobstop Job Bank is an active job board. Our job board operates similarly to other well-known job boards but differs dramatically by limiting and managing the content on the job board–all of which is carefully evaluated. On our board, members will find home-based and telecommuting jobs only. We do not post traditional jobs or known schemes.

Christian Home Business Connection: How long has Homejobstop been in business, and why did you create the Job Bank?

Rita: After looking for home-based work myself, I was overwhelmed and frustrated by the number of schemes crowding engines and dominating job boards. It seemed impossible to find anything!  During that time, I also frequented related forums to find that many people were as fed up as I was. I knew there were great opportunities to be found, but most of them were buried in the muck. I imagined a job site that doesn’t allow paid advertising–a site that honestly cares about its content and its visitors. Then I worked to make it happen, and we really took off! I began the site in 1999, and we’ve been operating since 2000. The success of Homejobstop over the years has been nothing short of remarkable.  We quickly gained popularity just by word of mouth. For that and so many other reasons, I am very greatful to our members. They’re smart, talented, and we owe much of our success to them.

Christian Home Business Connection: Does it cost anything to become a member?

Rita: Yes, but it’s a very low, one-time joining fee. We keep the joining fee as low as possible considering that new members are also job seekers. Right now, we are offering a basic Lifetime Job Bank membership for only $18. Again, that’s a lifetime membership, and there are no further fees or renewal fees.

Christian Home Business Connection: Why do you charge a joining fee at all?

Rita: I’m glad you asked. The reason we charge a fee is so that we can fully monitor and control the content on the board. Any site that relies heavily on advertising revenue will find it difficult to control its own content. And though most ad-supported job sites are also free to browse, they often devalue quickly as scant collections flanked by poor offers. At Homejobstop, we are committed to valuable content, and for this reason, we do not accept paid advertising. To put it another way, we do not serve advertisers. We only serve members.
